Hotel Ansitz Plantitscherhof is a 5-star hotel located in the residential area of the city of Merano (BZ) in an enchanting alpine setting. The owner decided to rely on SPS Energy to make this wonderful facility even more sustainable. The project was realized by installing an 80 kWp photovoltaic system on the roofs of the structure with a 140 kWh storage system. All of this was managed by Lynus' energy management system, which, by optimizing the charge/discharge cycles of the storage system, allows maximum control of the facility's energy flows, ensuring maximum efficiency
The Alpenrosenhof mountain hut is located at the Pennes Pass in the Sarntal valley at an altitude of 2,200 metres. Up there, where sun and wind punctuate the daily rhythm, there is no electricity grid. A diesel-powered plant supplies guests and visitors with electricity and hot water. SPS Energy was able to make optimal use of the area's energy resources by constructing a hybrid photovoltaic-wind power plant with storage batteries to eliminate the refuge's dependence on fossil fuels
